Nestled in the heart of the Central Flyway where many birds come from their Northern breeding grounds on their annual migration south, the best duck flight typically occurs in the early morning and extends throughout the day. During our early season duck hunts our guests are guided by professionals, targeting various species of ducks such as mallard, widgeon, teal and gadwall. Hunts will take place in various locations on river bottoms, creeks and warm water sloughs, as well as small water ponds.

Our hunts offer a unique blend of world-class opportunities, combining the best of both duck and goose hunts along the renowned Platte River in Western Nebraska. As the temperature drops, our top priority is to locate feeds and track bird patterns. Usually, our migration is in full swing at this time, presenting ideal opportunities for successful hunts. With the comfort of our heated blinds, clients can enjoy the hunt while being shielded from the elements.
Late-season geese along the Platte River offer a unique experience. As the season progresses, a reverse migration brings thousands of geese back to the valley. Hunters can anticipate numerous opportunities to target Greater and Lesser Canadians. Our hunts mainly take place from pits in the fields surrounding the food sources or from river blinds.
